Description

Due to its high altitude of over 1500m above sea level, the climate in Sao Ha is cool and refreshing in the summer and extremely cold in the winter. Nestled deep within the old forest, shaded by ancient trees, Sao Ha village has become a secluded and mysterious place. There are approximately 22 households living in traditional stone-wall houses of the H'Mong ethnic group, with moss-covered stone fences.

The land is molded into walls to withstand the harsh weather on the rocky plateau, and the roofs are clustered in groups. The distinctive feature of the village is the natural stone fences, about 2.5m high, with a lifespan of decades and covered in lush green moss. Due to the challenging terrain and inconvenient transportation, the H'Mong people in S?o Há primarily rely on self-sufficiency. This village was the main setting for a famous Vietnamese horror film.
