Description

The Hai Van Pass is considered one of the most magnificent and impressive stretches of the National Highway 1A, which is the longest road traversing Vietnam. Not only does it leave a strong impression with its majestic natural landscapes, but it also carries a significant historical footprint of the nation. Located at an elevation of 500m above sea level and stretching for 20km, cutting across the Bach Ma mountain range, the Hai Van Pass serves as the boundary between Thua Thien Hue province in the north and Da Nang city in the south.

The pass stands out amidst the vast expanse of majestic mountains, with towering peaks on one side and lush green forests on the other. The natural scenery truly deserves the title of "the most magnificent panorama under the Vietnam sky." From the summit of the pass, travelers will behold the panoramic view of Lang Co Bay, Da Nang City, Cham Islands, Tien Sa Port, Son Tra Peninsula, all unfolding like a magnificent painting.
